IAA Awards

The Academy administers awards which are given by the Board of Trustees in recognition of excellence in the fields of science and technology:

- The Theodore Von Karman Award is the premier and the most prestigious award of the Academy,

- The Laurels for Team Achievement Award, to recognize extraordinary performance and achievement by a team of scientists, engineers and managers in the field of Astronautics,

- The Science Section Awards are given to IAA members for outstanding achievement in basic science, engineering science, life science and social science,

- The Book Awards are given annually to recognize excellence in publication.
