International Academy of Astronautics (IAA) in partnership with Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia (RUDN University) and with support of American Astronautical Society (AAS) hosts the 2nd IAA/AAS SciTech Forum 2019 including two conferences:

2nd IAA/AAS Conference on Space Flight Mechanics
2nd IAA/AAS Conference on Space Structures and Materials


2nd IAA/AAS SciTech Forum will be held in Moscow on June 25 –27, 2019, where RUDN University will welcome professionals from all around the world.

RUDN-University, Moscow, Russia is the only university in the world that unites students and professionals from more than 150 countries, a meeting point for different cultures and viewpoints, and at the same time – an expanding platform for space education, a place for research and discussion. The working language of the 2nd IAA/AAS SciTech Forum 2019 will be English.


Call for Papers

Abstract and Paper Submission

Papers for the conference shall be selected basing on the quality of 500 word abstracts. For accepted papers, complete manuscripts and presentations should be submitted before the Forum. All the manuscripts presented at the Conferences will be published as a special volume in AAS Advances in the Astronautical Sciences series by Univelt, Inc., San Diego, CA, USA, indexed by Scopus, Web of Science and Ei Compendex.

The working language of 2nd IAA/AAS SciTech Forum will be English.

500–word abstract are to be submitted through a web based abstract submittal system via the following link. To upload your abstract, please, create and use your EasyChair account. The authors are also expected to submit short 100-word abstracts for their inclusion in the Conference Program.
For a detailed guide, please, visit the official EasyChair page with Submission Instructions.
Using the web based system, authors will submit their 500–word and 100–word abstract, author information, as well as manuscript preprint before the conference. Authors will also use this site to submit their final manuscript after conference. Given that the Conference Proceedings will be published as a special volume in AAS Advances in the Astronautical Sciences series by Univelt, Inc., San Diego, CA, USA. We strongly recommend that you refer to and use the following MS Word or Latex templates to accurately submit your conference paper.

Key Dates:

Abstract Submission Deadline – May 18, 2019.
Notification of Acceptance – in 3 weeks after submission, but not later than June 10,2019.
Manuscript Preprint Submission Deadline – June 10, 2019.
Presentation Submission Deadline – June 15, 2019.


The papers will be evaluated based on 500-word abstracts submitted by the authors. Full manuscripts are required for accepted papers. Proceedings of the Conference will be published as a special volume in AAS Advances in the Astronautical Sciences series by Univelt, Inc., San Diego, CA, USA.
